This ANSI #40H heavy duty roller chain is designed for higher shock loads, demanding operating conditions, and industrial power transmission applications where additional strength is required. Manufactured from durable carbon steel with thicker heavy-duty side plates and precision-matched components, it provides increased fatigue resistance, smooth sprocket engagement, and dependable wear performance when properly installed and maintained. This chain has an average tensile strength of approximately 4,000lbs and is supplied in a standard 50 foot length, with additional lengths available. Manufactured to ANSI dimensional standards for compatibility with #40H sprockets and components.
A matching connecting link is included for convenient installation, and additional connecting links and offset links are available and recommended to keep on hand to minimize downtime and allow for quick adjustments or repairs. Compatible sprockets are offered in various tooth counts and bore sizes.
