Lumber Conveyor Chains
Jeremywell’s Lumber Conveyor Chains are built to handle the heavy-duty demands of the forestry and lumber processing industry. Engineered for durability and consistent performance, our chains are designed to efficiently transport logs, lumber, and wood materials through various stages of processing, from debarking and sawing to grading and stacking.

81X Series Chains
The 81X Series is a steel bushed roller chain with a 2.609" pitch and a straight side-bar design, making it an ideal choice for the lumber and forestry industry. Known for its smooth operation and reliable performance, the 81X chain is commonly used in sawmills and planing mills for conveying lumber in moderate-load applications. Its durable construction allows for steady engagement with sprockets, reduced vibration, and long service life—even in demanding environments.
Sharp Top Chains
Our Sharp Top chain is specifically engineered for demanding applications in the lumber and forestry industry, where grip and control are essential. Designed with three sharp points per pitch, this chain delivers superior traction, ensuring accurate handling of rough or uneven lumber throughout processing lines.
Built for long-term performance, the Sharp Top chain features:
- Heat-treated components for exceptional wear resistance and durability
- Shot-peened components to increase fatigue strength and reduce stress fractures

3939 Sorter Chain
The 3939 chain is an extended pitch (8") version of the 81X chain, designed for drop sorting applications in the lumber and forestry industry. Commonly used with J-hook attachments, it provides smooth and reliable lumber sorting in high-demand environments.
We offer a full range of configurations, including 3939, 3939-B4, and 3939H, each built to handle varying loads and wear conditions.
What sets our chains apart is the use of precision-machined, heat-treated components, solid round bushings and rollers, and premium raw materials. The result is a high-performance chain with exceptional strength, durability, and longevity—built for the demands of modern sorting systems.

Narrow Welded Crank-Link Mill Chains are heavy-duty, wear-resistant chains designed for rugged conveying applications. Their crank-link design allows for smooth engagement with sprockets, while the narrow profile enables use in tight or confined spaces. In the lumber industry, these chains are commonly used in log decks, transfer conveyors, and sorting lines—handling high loads and abrasive materials with reliable performance and minimal downtime.

Wide Welded Crank-Link Mill Chain
Wide Welded Crank-Link Mill Chains are built for strength and stability in demanding material handling applications. Featuring a wider profile and robust crank-link design, these chains offer increased load distribution and durability. In the lumber industry, they are ideal for log handling, heavy-duty conveyors, and sorting systems where high-impact resistance and long service life are critical.
